East River Park: Located just below the dam in the Neosho and the city's most popular fishing spot. There are 40 camping spots and one shelter house in this park. All camping spots have electricity (30-amp) and water. Download a map of the park.
Elmore Park: Located at a scenic bend in the Neosho river in the city's NE corner, this park offers a quiet camping experience. There are 26 camping spots on the West bank of the Neosho River. There is electricity (50-amp) at every spot and water at most. Many of the spots are nicely shaded. Download a map of the park.
Kamp Siesta has 42 sites. Sites have (20/30/50) amp electric service, water hook-ups and a dump station onsite. From April to November a bathhouse and shower is available, along with a covered concrete patio with picnic tables. Nicely shaded corner, just north of the ballfields and fairgrounds buildings. Within minutes of great hunting, fishing, swimming, and other great activities. It’s a great location for members of a family reunion to stay, camping clubs, ball tournaments, etc. For those who travel the country with horses, a horse barn is located on site.
Directions: From US Highway 160 go North on Kansas Street to the Fairground buildings, then just West of the Fairground buildings and turn North.
Danny Elliot Park:
4 camping sites with electric and water hook-up and concrete pads are available. A dump station is available at Kamp Siesta located in Riverside Park, as well as a drop box for payments.
Location: (1275 Xavier Road) in Oswego, Kansas
24 sites, water, electric, dump. Lots of shade and within walking distance of historic cemetary in oak forest.
Directions: Located in Marvel Park on East Main, 1 mile East of US Hwy 59.
